IM BACK and it is 2018!!

In todays world of gaming there is such a high demand for performance and graphics. Im 42 and played since the Atari 2600. owned all of the major consoles through their generations. When I think of games I played in the past, brings back great memories; Kaboom, Mario, splinter cell, Techmo Bowl, RES Evils 1-3. to barley scratch the surface of old titles. I remember when HALO hit. What an exciting time. Then Gears of War hit. Remember the first time we experienced those two franchises? STAY with me, there is a point.... To keep this reply short, we dont need to list ALL of the games, but the two mentioned above is to remind you of the feeling WE gamers felt at that moment. Now, here is where I got perturbed with your video and opinion. You bash xbox with their lack of titles, backwards compat, performance, state that (and I quote) anyone who says graphics dont matter is a liar. With that comment you just showed your age. I would take an average looking game with great mechanics, mapping, movement ect. over amazing crisp graphics with poor mechanics (they do exist today) any day of the week. To conclude this reply, I agree that xbox over the years has had issues through their growth. Playstation has had less issues (even with the HACK) over the years in comparison. The PS4 Pro feels and looks great. My Xbox One X feels great. I prefer Xbox dashboard, store, and Party chat over PS4. Streaming from console? I prefer PS4 over xbox option. Xbox you have a few steps. Playstation you hit one button and ready to go. We could go back and forth with other examples stated above, but the point is that it's ALL preference - NOT performance. And that is where we are at as of today in the gaming industry. The question is no longer what performs better. It's what someone prefers. My opinion about owning both consoles? I say own them both with 4k monitor if you can afford it. Why? well, why NOT!? We are gamers. It is an expensive hobby, but probably the most enjoyable. Let's not turn Sony vs. Microsoft into Democrate vs. Republican. Lets remember why we game and how it makes us feel. And for the over 40 club, always remember the good old days and not get wrapped up in the politics. Fyi just so you know: im not some fat 40 yr old virgin in my moms basement. Im a fulltime firefighter 21 yrs, married, 3 kids, and everything else. I tell you this to show you where and what type of person this opinion comes from. Let's hope that 2018 is full of great games and not delays. Happy gaming my dudes! Demolition D

January News

What's up Gamers!

The end of 2015 is here.  The slate of great games are out!  As every beginning of a new year, there is not much new content out.

January 2016 releases are scarce and I will be streaming older games such as; Mass Effect Trilogy, Ryse, Last of Us, and Dungeon Siege III.

Also, will be replaying newer released games such as Tomb Raider  series, Until Dawn, Last of Us, and The Order.

MULTIPLAYER: games will still be the norm - BF4, Titanfall, and Starwars Battlefront.

If there are any games you would like to see on Live stream, just shoot me a message and we will get it done!

Merry Christmas to all

sincerely,
Demolition Crew

Best Video Games of 2015

                             Best Video Games of 2015

So this is my favorite question at the end of each year. What is or the best game of the year?  When I come up with top 5 games of the year, I consider the following:

* How well done are the graphics - but are not the most important factor.
* How well does the game hold my interest through story or type of game play (fighting, sports, race, or action /RPG}
* How well the controls feel
* If it's MP game - who easy is it to party/squad up with friends

**DEMOLITION D TOP 5 GAMES OF THE YEAR**

                                              # 5 -  BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT

Though I am a Batman fanatic, I can not be bias towards it on the list. Graphically and control wise it's well done.  With the DLC adds to the longevity of the game, but It's a comic book story. The general gamer can enjoy the game and fans will love it.  To make the top of the list of GOY, it must be loved by all.

                                                    # 4 - WITCHER 3

I must admit something first.  I enjoyed the game and it is played on a large scale.  But as I mentioned before what I look for into a game, I got really bored with this game. That does not mean it's a bad game - it's just not my favorite.  I do recognize why a lot of gamers like this game and it made it into my top 5.

                                                      #3 - UNTO DAWN

Unto Dawn is a beautiful game with a rich story and one of the best horror thrillers in a long time.  The actions you choose decides the outcome of the characters in the game.

This game surprised me in several ways.  Before I played the game I knew it was short. But after playing I realized why it had to be.  I thought after I had played the game, I would be done with it.  This was not the case. I can't wait to go through another play through.  If you are a Streamer, this is the perfect game for your audience to watch.

#2 - RISE OF THE TOMB RAIDER

Rise of the Tomb Raider continues the story and adventures of Lara Croft.  The opening scene in the game is a very intense one.  After the first scene, I believe my words were "that's how you start a game!"

Not only is  the game beautiful, the controls and options to either go guns blazing, mele, or using explosives to defeat your enemy.  As for the difficulty in the game, there is no need to choose the harder difficulty. There is no achievement reward to do so. No alternate ending, XP, or no special equipment received.  It's only for the pure fact that you want to challenge yourself.

I recommend to play on normal and immerse yourself into Lara's world.

                                                      #1 - FALLOUT 4

This should not be a surprise to anyone.  There is about 70-80 hrs of game play in Fallout. And that is without any DLC. Your character has 3 options to choose your faction to side with.  The story is great and the addition to build your own town is like Sims on steroids!

The only downfall to the game (minor) would be the graphics.  They are not terrible, but being on new gen console, one would expect more. The game also had some minor bugs. There were times that I had to reload the game for quest to continue.

But when games are announced they tend to be over hyped.  Fallout 4 holds up to all the hype.

Please continue the conversation. I would love to hear your top 5 of 2015!
